Visiting our Alpine Valley Retreat can be your optimal Australian Victorian Alps Experience. Located in the East Gippsland between Alpine Resorts of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham.

Whether you are having your family adventure in the country, a couples, rural or just a wellness retreat we believe you will leave your worries and troubles on the doorstep and step into a space that says de-stress, relax and expand your horizons.

Maybe you are thinking of hiking or cycling through the Victorian Alps, our chalet retreat may be your answer. Surround yourself in beautiful Alpine Country, venturing on river, mountain walks, taking in breathtaking rural vistas, or simply lay back and enjoy the beautiful panoramas from our two balconies.

In winter you are only 30 minutes away from Australia’s highest altitude snow wonderland. Both Falls Creek and Mount Hotham snow resorts are within this short reach. Our Chalet-Style accommodation available at your disposal.

We are in the high-country township of Omeo, originally founded on agriculture and goldmining, only 42 km away from Dinner Plain a very family friendly ski village, where beginner skiers and toboggan fans can have a field day. Even the pub is a kids friendly establishment, with great food.

If adventure is what you seek our Alpine Valley Retreat can be your gateway to rock climbing, family water rafting or cycling. It is a great stop-over for your altitude bicycle training, motorbike touring and mountain climbing.

Great view of the country side and close to Omeo. Excellent bed really comfortable. Only thing lacking is the section is not fully fenced so no off lash time for our mate.

We had a wonderful stay and it's in such a good location to go on daily adventures to explore the Victorian high country, including lots of swimming spots for summer! As advertised the property isn't securely fenced, after a couple of days of using a long lead and getting the doggo used to the surroundings and the nearby horses we were able to make use of the backyard which does have clear boundaries.
